The department of Computer Science and Engineering at Indur Institute of Engineering and Technology was established in the year 2001, with the approval from AICTE with a sanctioned intake of 60. During this short span of time, the department has established itself as one of the best department of our college with an additional intake of 60 students from the academic year 2005-2006 making the total intake 120. M.Tech in Computer Science Engieering is introduced from the academic year 2008-09. |
| OBJECTIVE |
|
To encourage the students to excel in latest technologies to make them globally competitive through futuristic plans.
To provide entrepreneurial skills with ethical and social values for better employability and sustenance in the upcoming technologies.
Developing the skills of the students to meet the industrial needs on recent technologies. Establishing high end computing facilities to offer various services like web designing and global solutions. |
| SPECIAL FEATURES |
The department has collaborations with IBM, INFOSYS and ORACLE Corporation. Students of our department got selected in various reputed MNCs like GOOGLE, WIPRO, SATYAM, IBM, INFOSYS, etc. Our department supports Jawahar Knowledge Center which provides placements with training to the selected candidates. The Jawahar Knowledge Center of our department is appreciated by our Hons' Chief Minister, Dr. Y.S. Rajasekar Reddy by awarding a Memento for excellence. The Computer Science and Engineering Association (CSEA) periodically organize seminars, symposia and guest lectures for the benefit of students and also conducts seminars by the students. |
